Kepler of Germany

" Kepler of Germany Kepler was a German astronomer, mathematician and astrologer, born on December 27, 1571 inWilderstadt, Wurttemberg (now Germany) of the Holy Roman Empire. He died of illness inRegensburg, Bavaria, on November 15, 1630, aged 58. Kepler studied at the University ofTubingen, earning a bachelor's degree in 1588 and a master's degree three years later. Mostscientists at the time rejected Copernicus's heliocentric theory. While studying at theUniversity of Tubingen, he heard a logical explanation of the Copernican heliocentric theoryand soon became convinced. Kepler discovered three laws of planetary motion: the law oforbit, the law of area, and the law of period. The three laws can be described as follows:all planets move in elliptical orbits of different sizes; In the same period of time, theplanets sweep the same amount of area across the orbital plane in their direction; Thesquare of the period of a planet's revolution is proportional to the square of its distancefrom the sun. These three laws eventually earned him the reputation of ""Sky Lawmaker"". Atthe same time, he also made important contributions to optics and mathematics, and he wasthe founder of modern experimental optics. "
